I am staying in Woodlands while W is staying in Clementi. When we were looking for a BTO, we didn’t know where we wanted to apply. We wanted to apply in Woodlands which was so near to my place (and super accessible to everywhere!) but then the application closed. Then we waited and waited and then came Bukit Batok.

Since we don’t really have a certain preference of where we wanted to live until we die, we decided to apply at Bukit Batok. I have no idea what is it like living in the West because I have always been a North person. But since W said the area is near to MRT and there are amenities nearby, I agreed.

We applied the day the BTO application opened. Prayed so hard hoping to get a queue number within the quota and yeayyyyy we got number 431/790. So confirm get one lah kan. Hahahaha. Then after we knew the results, we got excited (esp. him!) and we started to look out for units! I wanted the 10th floor cos not too high and not too low. But then he wanted 7th floor only! And he wouldn’t budge a floor when I bargained for a higher floor. So 7th floor it is. I am hoping someone will buy the units we want on the 7th floor then he got not choice but to move a floor higher. HAHAHAHA. *evil laugh*

We are spoilt for choice actually on which unit to take because there are different layouts. We finally decided on unit 216 or 218 as the living area is slightly bigger compared to the rest. Insyallah there will still be a unit for us to take by the time our turn comes. I didn’t expect the house to be this expensive! Haiz. But what to do. Living in Singapore is a killer man. Haiz.

Hateeeee the fact that I have to work tomorrow morning. But spent the last 2 days off fruitfully with my mum. Meeting W tomorrow and we are gonna have some fun in town. Its been awhile. Have a good weekend alls ❤
